It's all about what cinema can do for our people and our town...

Given the current opportunities that have presented themselves to us, we think it urgent and timely to put great effort in the development of the next generation of storytellers and film audiences. Kitale Film Week is born out of the belief in the power of cinema and heritage, and we intend to seek ways in which film can be a strategic factor for sustainable urban development.
